     Ava and Johnny are showing more signs at wanting to reconnect romantically. Nikki and Colby (Johnathan Slavin) try to light their romantic fires by staging an intimate dinner. The evening goes well. The next day, both Johnny and Ava admit they had a good time. They make plans to attend a concert together that evening. Later, at the restaurant, when Erika casually comments on the upcoming date to Johnny and Ava, Johnny suddenly becomes uncomfortable and begins to downplay the date as not a "real date". Ava is hurt and feels dismissed by his comment and attitude and angrily leaves the restaurant.  Later, Johnny tries to defend himself to Ava. He tells her after everything that has happened to him this year, he is just being cautious. He is going to move out. Ava responds by dismissing him. She tells him abruptly to do what he has to do. Nikki overhears the tension filled conversation and conveniently locks them both in the garage together. She hopes that a night spent alone together would  make both of them come to their senses and realize they love each other. It doesn't go as planned.  When Ava finds out what matchmaker Nikki has been doing, she apologizes to Johnny and tells him it won't happen again. She also comes clean with Johnny. She tells him she loves him. And he can move in and out a thousand times and it won't change anything, she will always love him. When Johnny hears Ava declare her love for him, he finally lets down his guard, lets go of the past and admits to Ava that he loves her too. They kiss.
